It's not always cupcakes and unicorns

Most of the time, the kiddos are just plain awesome. They are happy-go-lucky, loving life, and carefree. It's fun to spend time with them and see the world through their eyes. I think every once in a while, they have one of those days....or maybe we have one of those days, where it seems nothing will go right, so we appreciate the awesome days in between. 


Today, was one of those days. Neither kid would listen. They also decided that whatever they wanted was worth a tantrum. Both kids needed to be right beside one of us or touching one of us while we tried to eat a little dinner. Soon enough it was bath and bed time. They are in bed a little early, Kev is taking Barley for a walk, and I am going to have a glass of wine. Hopefully we can all relax a little, get a good night sleep, and go back to all the awesomeness tomorrow...which I'm sure will be a little sweeter.
